Physical Therapist (ONSITE @ 4th POG, Fort Bragg, NC). THIS POSITION IS ONSITE. relocation is offered. Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with or without referrals. Refer patients to other POTFF staff members as needed. Provide and perform services in support of POTFF’s HP program for SOF personnel, including neuro-musculoskeletal injury care, with the ability to order images, laboratory tests, pharmaceuticals, dry needling, acupuncture, joint injections and aspirations, and referrals to specialty providers. Directly supervise the PT Tech, PT Assistant, and/or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) within their scope of practice, as directed by the HP Program Manager/Coordinator. Participate in periodic meetings to review care and identify opportunities for improvement. Advise the HP program Manager/Coordinator on Sports Medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and related human performance research. Advise on administrative matters, purchasing of supplies and equipment, and supplemental fiscal requests. Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to keep the HP program current. Contribute to the development and utilization of required databases; conduct peer reviews as directed by credentialing bodies. Assist in developing and updating job descriptions, performance standards, and clinical practice guidelines to ensure consistency of care across HPTCs and facilities. Assist with fiscal planning and provide input to the HP program Manager/Coordinator. Attend and participate in meetings with POTFF staff and medical providers as required. Ensure safe operation of equipment and a safe working environment. Participate in periodic in-service training and required continuing education to maintain certification. Maintain 100% compliance with local mandatory command training requirements. Document care in Military Electronic Health Records (e.g., AHLTA, GENESIS) and/or HP databases as required, and per governing directives. Perform other tasks within the PT position description as assigned and report data as required by management. Proficiently utilize computers, software, and technologies as required by management. Required Education/Experience/Skills/Training

U.S. Citizenship required. Secret or Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain). Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Certification through ABPTS (OCS or SCS) or NATA as ATC. Maintain credentialing in good standing at the local MTF. Ability to meet physical demands of SOF training in varied environments; hike over rough terrain as needed. May be required to assist with strength and conditioning testing and lift up to 25 kg. Minimum five (5) years of manual therapy experience in sports medicine with athletes; experience at NCAA Division I, Olympic, professional, or SOF preferred. Fluent English (oral and written). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification; provide proof of all training. Desired Education, Experience, Skills or Training

Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Prior military and/or SOF experience. CSCS or similar credential (NSCA) is a plus. Standard Company Requirements
