Job Description

Schedule: Monday/Friday 10-7pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 8-5pm

Participate in direct patient care, including obstetrics, family planning, newborn care, pediatrics, and general adult care, depending on your specialty.

Meet patient care productivity requirements as set by the Center.

Provide continuous, comprehensive, culturally sensitive health care of the highest quality.

Provide case management and documentation for patients.

Assist in organizing special clinics, such as migrant camp programs.

Provide services at other sites if required.

Oversee support staff in patient management.

Participate in case management reviews and meetings to improve patient care.

Contribute to quality assurance, quality improvement, and operational committees.

Supervise students and residents in healthcare professions.

Support nurse practitioners and physician assistants as needed.

Engage in community and hospital committees to aid Center integration.

May assume Medical Director responsibilities temporarily in their absence.

Assist the CEO as needed and handle PHI per HIPAA standards.

Additional Details:

Visa assistance for J-1 Waiver & H1B available.

Starting salary: $223,356/year + DOE.

Schedule: Monday/Friday 10-7pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 8-5pm.

Job summary: Provide direct patient care, participate in team and community activities, and serve as an educational resource.

Requirements include:

Oregon medical license and DEA registration.

Privileges at Tuality Community Hospital and OHSU, depending on scope.

BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Commitment to working with diverse populations.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; willingness to learn Spanish.

Physical and Work Environment:

Work involves standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting.

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemicals.

Use of medical and office equipment.
