Overview
Seeking FNP to join talented team in Lancaster, CA. This position will play vital role in the Health Center’s Primary Care program. The successful candidate will be an advanced practice registered nurse who has acquired the necessary training to provide primary healthcare services to patients. The candidate will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as needed. The candidate will also be able to develop an appropriate treatment plan and provide effective management of patient care with proper evaluation. The candidate can also function as an educator to families, staff, and the community.
Responsibilities
Provide primary healthcare services to patients as part of the Health Center’s Primary Care program.
Caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records.
Schedule and administer follow-up appointments as needed.
Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide effective management of patient care with proper evaluation.
Educate families, staff, and the community as needed.
Outpatient clinic setting with EPIC EMR usage.
Work with underserved populations.
FNP will function in a full-time, permanent capacity.
Qualifications
1+ years experience as an FNP.
A keen interest in helping the underserved population (e.g. the homeless population).
FQHC experience a plus.
Familiarity with Quality Measures a plus.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90-130K per year.
Health, vision, and dental insurance; 403B (up to 6% match); PTO and sick time; CME; tuition reimbursement.
