We are looking for a Senior Verification Technologist who is responsible for performing complex system tests for development and performance of new and modified consumables, hardware, software, or assays. The Senior Verification Technologist will be responsible for having knowledge of various test fixtures and strong instrument troubleshooting abilities. Executes Verification Testing Protocols on all existing Systems and new platforms in development Documents test results in accordance with standard operating procedures Ability to understand the relationship between the requirements and actual system results Works independently as well as with the team to complete the assigned work on schedule Strong serological background with ability to prepare dilutions and perform manual testing with various methodologies Performs maintenance on the systems when needed Maintains lab work surfaces and lab space Ability to recognize system processing anomalies and erroneous results and communicate as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or other sciences or technical field, preferred MLT (ASCP) or MT (ASCP) certification designation required Experience in medical testing laboratory with automatic testing systems, desired but not required Strong understanding of document management principles and best practices Seniority level
