Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a teaching hospital trauma center, neonatal intensive care unit, and home to the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, the only adult burn trauma center in Maryland, with about 420 beds. Our Cardiovascular Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to provide high-quality patient care. As a Cardiovascular Tech you would assist physicians with the performance of cardiac cath related procedures including diagnostic studies and therapeutic procedures such as cardiac cath (right and left heart cath), stent deployment for heart attack patients, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump insertion, and transcutaneous pacemaker wire placement. You would also assist with IVUS/FFR studies which are diagnostic studies to determine blood flow in arteries. NEW GRADUATES:
This role is for a radiology technologist who has completed an AMA School of Radiologic Technology or an AA Degree in Radiology. You will have the opportunity to learn how to assist in Stress Testing Procedures and Nuclear Medicine Studies. Work requires the level of knowledge typically acquired through completion of two years of occupationally specific education in an AMA School of Radiology or an AA in Radiology Minimum of one (1) year previous experience; NEW GRADUATES are encouraged to apply ARRT (R) or RCIS registration required Maryland Radiology License through Maryland Board of Physicians BLS required upon hire ACLS required within 3 months of employment Shift: Daytime | Full Time (40 hours) | On-call rotation required based on the needs of the department Important Notices
