Overview
SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking pediatric critical care faculty applicants for a full-time appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care Medicine at Saint Louis University and SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. The academic rank and appointment will be commensurate with experience. The appointee will provide clinical coverage in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Sedation Service at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. We welcome applicants with an academic interest in pediatric critical care fellowship education and/or potential to conduct research-based and clinical programs in post-pediatric intensive care follow-up.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical coverage in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Pediatric Sedation Service.
Engage in medical education for students, residents, and pediatric critical care fellows.
Participate in research, quality improvement, and development of post-PICU follow-up programs.
Collaborate with the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and other specialties as part of a 10‑member full-time faculty and 5 acute care pediatric nurse practitioners team.
Qualifications
Medical doctorate or equivalent.
BC/BE in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Eligible for permanent medical licensure in the State of Missouri.
Experience caring for complex and critically ill infants, children, and adolescents within the past five years.
Open to qualified applicants regardless of visa status (foreign visa holders, green card holders, and US citizens).
