Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Lab. The department provides care in electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, and related procedures across adult and pediatric populations. The lab operates Monday through Friday with on-call support after hours. Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cases while operating fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including circulating in the procedure room and supporting adult and congenital cases. Cross-train to EP procedures or Hybrid OR as needed. Prepare patients and supplies under sterile conditions, scrub in with the physician, and assist with procedures. Use fine motor skills for prepping supplies and equipment. Accurately obtain X-rays and ensure patient safety and comfort. Operate automatic injectors and select appropriate contrast agents under physician direction. Collaborate with staff to provide patient care during examinations. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; document malfunctions and coordinate equipment borrowing when needed. Work independently on-call with department physicians and nurses. Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program. Two years of experience operating radiologic equipment or equivalent combination of training and experience. Proven radiologic technologist knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). BLS and ACLS upon hire; PALS within 1 month of hire. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. EP/Cath Lab technologist knowledge and abilities. Cardiac interventional and/or vascular interventional certification from ASRT (RCES or RCIS preferred). Additional Details

Ability to manage competing needs and priorities while ensuring safe conditions for patients, families, and staff. Proficiency with hospital-approved clinical equipment and common office technology. Fast-paced environment with quick patient turnover and varying locations (Cath Lab, EP procedures, inpatient and outpatient settings). Must be able to work at multiple sites (South Waterfront/CHH2 and Main OHSU Hospital) and live within a 30-minute callback radius for after-hours on-call activations. All are welcome.
