Speech Language Pathology (SLP) - Inpatient Rehabilitation • Per Diem What You’ll Do
Perform patient assessment. Establish a plan of care. Provide care in accordance with physician's orders and the established plan of care. Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify treatment to achieve goals. Plan for patient discharge. Communicate with patients, families/caregivers, and the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals and maximize benefits of care. Participate in performance improvement and program development activities. Contribute to budgetary planning and support cost-effective services and programs within the department. Assess educational needs of patient, family, caregiver, or significant other and provide education accordingly. Create an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assess safety risks and implement appropriate precautions. Comply with safety standards. Use leadership skills to delegate, organize, and educate coworkers and staff. Coordinate and supervise appropriate levels of staff including interns, students, and volunteers. Participate in and contribute to quality improvement processes for the department and the institution. What We Offer

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Possess or be eligible for the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state. Current Basic Life Support/CPR card. About Us
