The successful applicant will be an Advanced Practice Provider interested in working full-time in the care of patients undergoing blood and marrow transplantation (BMT) and CAR-T cellular therapy (CT). The APP will join a busy and thriving Hematology Oncology Division that includes 8 Malignant Hematologists, 6 BMT APPs, and 7 Malignant Hematology APPs. This position will work in the inpatient setting at night. Details

13-hour night shifts per month, rotating weekdays/weekends Patient Population

Inpatient care along with management of active outpatient therapy calls for BMT/CT patients. Age range: 13 years to death. Minimum Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program, with current licensure or eligibility for licensure. Specific certifications include BLS, ACLS, and state licensure as applicable. Preferred Qualifications

Prior BMT and/or Cellular Therapy experience is preferred. Certification in Adult Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant credentials, are desirable. Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients based on clinical findings Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures Coordinate referrals and consults Document and bill for care provided Engage in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and research activities Participate in team meetings, tumor boards, and educational activities Physical Requirements

Ability to perform job functions involving standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and other physical activities. Corrected vision of 20/40 or better; ability to work indoors and in various environments. Additional Details

Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies, with at least two years of clinical experience, including one in a specialty area. Certification and licensure as specified.
