The Housekeeping Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, order and presentation across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces. The role manages team scheduling, quality inspections, staff training and collaborates with Front Office, Engineering and F&B to meet guest requests. Annual compensation is $85,000 per year. Duties & Responsibilities

Lead daily housekeeping operations, managing team assignments and productivity expectations. Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance and guest readiness. Train team members on Faena service standards, safety, chemical handling and room care techniques. Collaborate with Front Office, Engineering and F&B to manage guest requests and room status updates. Ensure department compliance with DOH, OSHA and property-wide sanitation policies. Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling and team development initiatives. Monitor inventory levels and ordering of linens, guest supplies and amenities. Support VIP and special guest room preparation and follow‑up service. Maintain lost & found documentation and property-wide cleanliness inspections. Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities and lead by example in delivering guest service recovery. Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of luxury hotel housekeeping experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of PMS systems (Opera) and housekeeping applications (HotSOS, Alice, etc.). Experience in union environments preferred. Strong understanding of NYC DOH and OSHA compliance requirements. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English). High school diploma or equivalent required; Hospitality degree preferred. Skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting. Effective communication and time management. Physical Demands & Work Environment

Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas. Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Remain active, constantly moving, or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout the work shift. Medium Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of constantly moving objects, may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
