Room Attendant Job Overview
Hyatt Regency Westlake is looking for a Room Attendant to ensure that assigned rooms and public spaces are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. The role includes addressing guest queries and resolving complaints promptly. Key Responsibilities
Greet guests and respond to queries. Make beds and replenish supplies in guest rooms. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies using a vacuum cleaner. Dust furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings. Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport trash to the disposal area. Replace light bulbs. Collect soiled linens for laundering and store linen supplies in the linen closet. Load laundry, add detergent or other cleaning agent, and dry clothes. Report technical issues and maintenance needs. Update guest room status on the assignment sheet. Return and restock the cleaning cart at shift end. Comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards. Other duties as assigned. Ability to carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine. Ability to perform repetitive actions consistently. Professional Experience
Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required. Academic Background
