Our rigorous curriculum and Corporate Work Study Program prepare students for college, with a 100% acceptance rate for each graduating class and 94% enrolling in college after graduation. Position Description:
This role involves coaching student-athletes to develop skills, attitude, and sportsmanship necessary for successful volleyball play. The coach will foster discipline, teamwork, and fair play. Assist the head coach with overseeing the varsity girls’ (fall) and boys’ (spring) volleyball teams. Instruct and demonstrate volleyball skills and techniques. Coordinate practice and game schedules with the Athletic Director and communicate with athletes. Maintain volleyball equipment, uniforms, and inventory. Travel with teams to away games and ensure safety and supervision of athletes before, during, and after games and practices. Make recommendations for equipment and supplies. Review weekly eligibility lists to ensure academic eligibility. Ensure athletes are in proper physical condition throughout the season. Model sportsmanship and enforce standards of conduct. Maintain a safe environment and stay compliant with paperwork and IHSA requirements. Represent the school professionally in all interactions. Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or head coach. Requirements:
Experience with middle school, high school, or collegiate volleyball. Current CPR/Emergency Cardiac Care certification. Additional Details:
