Identify incidents of theft and fraud and utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company. Review CCTV and exception reports and monitor the store's physical security. Audit the Electronic Article Surveillance and drive a shrink elimination culture in the store. Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence; interact with law enforcement and testify in criminal and civil court actions as required. Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates while focusing on store specific business objectives and supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities. Qualifications
Strong integrity and commitment to ethical conduct in loss prevention. Ability to identify incidents of theft and fraud and to use CCTV and exception reports to support investigations. Experience with store security monitoring, EAS systems, and loss-prevention best practices. Ability to prepare accurate case reports, preserve evidence, and interact with law enforcement; capable of testifying in criminal and civil proceedings. Ability to identify and report hazardous or unsafe conditions to management; dedication to safety for associates, vendors, customers, and the Company. Effective communication and collaboration with store leadership and associates to address asset protection and operational concerns.
