Overview
SSRGA, a mid-size full-service law firm with offices in New York and Florida, seeks a senior-level associate (ideally 5–7 years out of law school) for our growing New York real estate and commercial litigation practice. Our ideal candidate has superior research and legal writing abilities, significant experience briefing motions, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, and arguing motions. Condominium/Cooperative experience is preferable. In addition to compensation commensurate with experience (our relevant associate salaries range from $200,000–$275,000) and other attractive benefits, this position offers an uber-collaborative team environment at our Madison Avenue office and a unique opportunity to gain deep experience by managing matters hands-on. Responsibilities
Support the real estate and commercial litigation practice by conducting thorough legal research, drafting and editing pleadings and briefs, briefing motions, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions as needed. Contribute to case strategy and management, including handling matters hands-on and collaboration with the team. Qualifications
5–7 years of post-law-school experience (senior-level associate). Superior research and legal writing abilities. Significant experience briefing motions, drafting pleadings, taking/defending depositions, and arguing motions. Condominium/Cooperative experience is preferred. Strong collaboration skills and willingness to manage matters hands-on. Location: Manhattan, NY. Salary: $200,000–$275,000. Benefits: attractive compensation package and team-oriented environment.
