We are seeking an
AI Architect
to define and guide the end‑to‑end architecture for AI solutions across our Farming Solutions & Digital space. You will establish the vision, strategy, and standards for scalable, secure, and responsible AI - partnering with architects, engineers, data scientists, and product leaders to translate business needs into practical, high‑impact AI capabilities. As the AI Architect, you will collaborate up, down, and across the organization to shape our technical direction and accelerate value delivery with machine learning and generative AI. Responsibilities
Act as a unifier across data science, platform, and software teams while owning the architecture and best practices for AI systems and solutions Define and communicate the AI architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders across FS&D and enterprise counterparts Establish and implement AI architecture principles, technical decision‑making processes, and best practices Provide technical guidance and mentorship to architects and engineering teams on designing, building, and operating AI services and platforms Identify, assess, and recommend emerging AI technologies (e.g., protocols, vector databases, RAG patterns, agent frameworks, feature stores, model gateways) to enhance capabilities and outcomes Design reference architectures for data ingestion, feature engineering, training, fine‑tuning, inference/serving, monitoring, and feedback loops across cloud environments Partner with security, privacy, and legal to embed Responsible AI, governance, and compliance controls (e.g., safety guardrails, model risk management, data protection) Build and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders, vendors, and partners to align investments and accelerate delivery of AI use cases Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field 10+ years in software/system architecture with 5+ years focused on AI/ML systems at enterprise scale Proven track record delivering complex AI solutions from discovery to production with measurable business impact Expert knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and tooling (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn), data/feature platforms, and model serving/observability stacks Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), containerization, APIs, orchestration, and CI/CD for ML (MLOps) Familiarity with GenAI patterns (prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, RAG), vector stores, model gateways, and evaluation methodologies Strong grounding in data governance, security, privacy, and Responsible AI practices; ability to operationalize guardrails and controls Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align diverse teams on architectural strategy and decisions Strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills; passion for innovation and continuous learning Benefits
