Always Compassionate Health Overview We are seeking Live-In Caregivers (Certified HHA/PCA) in Westchester County to provide compassionate in-home care under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor according to the approved Care Plan. Responsibilities

Maintain a healthy, safe environment with nutritional and environmental support. Assist with personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, walking and feeding the client. Position the client as instructed by the care plan. Assist with certain treatments and therapy as ordered by the physician and approved by the nursing supervisor. Remind the client to take medications. Assist with payment of bills ONLY when authorized and documented on the assignment sheet. Run errands when authorized; document daily on the Aide Charting Sheet. Report important information or changes in the client’s condition to the agency and/or nursing supervisor as necessary. Use medical supplies and equipment appropriately. Provide emotional support and develop a trusting relationship with the client. Encourage client independence. Qualifications / Education

Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Must have a certificate from a Home Health Aide training program consistent with State requirements, with evidence of ongoing in-service education to maintain the certificate. Must have the maturity to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the client, the client’s family and agency personnel. Have a sincere interest in and a sympathetic attitude towards caring for the sick and disabled. Home Health Aide Must

Get along well with others; be dependable and trustworthy. Maintain compliance with all agency policies and procedures. Maintain in-service requirements as specified by State and agency regulations. Enjoy working with others; be a good listener and exhibit empathy for the sick, disabled and elderly. Maintain neat personal appearance and good hygiene; wear an identification badge while working. Functional Abilities

Able to lift, turn and transfer clients; lift up to 50 pounds. Able to stoop, bend, and have adequate visual/hearing ability to comprehend written and verbal communication. Able to verbalize clearly for understanding; provide direct care according to the client plan of care. Carry out a wide variety of tasks under the direction of the nursing supervisor. Work Environment

Regular exposure to client environments with occasional stress. Compensation: The hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation and may be modified in the future. When determining base salary, factors may include location, specialty, service line, years of experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity. Salary:

$18.10 - $19.10/hr
