Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Adjunct Anatomy Instructor. The role is based in Saint Paul, MN. The Adjunct Anatomy Instructor will be responsible for teaching anatomy labs, preparing and delivering laboratory instruction, assessing student performance, and providing academic support to students. The instructor will collaborate with the full-time anatomy instructor. Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver laboratory instruction in the anatomy lab Demonstrate commitment to the liberal arts educational mission and evangelical Christian orientation of the University Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline Skills
Ability to teach undergraduate students Reliability and dependability Strong knowledge of human anatomy and related scientific fields Ability to actively assess student comprehension and provide academic support Experience
Record of successful college teaching preferred Education
Master’s or doctoral degree in Anatomy, Biology, or a related field Additional Information
Compensation
At Bethel, we offer classes that are 1, 2 or 4 credits. Adjunct load will vary based on capabilities of the Adjunct Professor and needs of the department. We pay $1,000 per credit hour for online courses and $1,250 per credit hour for in person or hybrid courses. Position open
