Responsible for managing all aspects of food and beverage restaurant establishments on the resort with a particular emphasis on manager coaching, support, and leadership. Duties include training and evaluating restaurant managers, developing, monitoring, and responding to key business indictors to ensure that business targets are met. New product discovery and implementation, leadership & coaching development, product development targeted toward resort and local audiences. Responsible for establishing and maintaining systems and procedures, forecasting, controlling costs, growing revenues, generating/analyzing reports, and data as well as leading staff development programs. Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient computer skills (including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications) Previous food and beverage management experience Understanding of ABC regulations Beer, wine, and liquor knowledge Serve safe certification Ability to work a flexible schedule Must be at least 21 Preferred Industry specific knowledge of operations including point of sale systems Typical Schedule Days: Schedule varies including morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays Hours: Varied hours depending on business demands and project loads Core Responsibilities Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure a profitable product mix and build relationships with vendors/trade associations Lead the seasonal preparation process (summer & winter) to ensure staffing, training and product goals are met Work with team to monitor product mix of entire restaurant operations to ensure optimum purchasing options and inventory levels Work with managers to ensure process efficiency, procedure documentation, role clarity and staff training Monitor budget and resort business to meet established goals and build future growth plans Be able to perform all tasks required by all Front of House Managers and GMs and should understand all related software (POS and UltiPro) Oversee monthly inventory and inventory control Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor.
