The Sea Pines Resort is a renowned 54-hole golf destination located on the southern tip of Hilton Head Island. Home to the iconic Harbour Town Golf Links—host of the PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage—along with Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III and Heron Point by Pete Dye, the resort delivers a world-class golf experience in a premier coastal setting.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This individual will support the daily operations of our golf facilities and uphold the highest standards of service and professionalism under the direction of the Director of Sports.
Responsibilities
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times Provide a warm, welcoming, and personalized experience for all members and guests Assist with tee time reservations and communicate clearly and professionally by phone and in person Support day-to-day golf operations including: Tournament coordination and execution Managing pace of play Restocking and merchandising golf shop inventory GHIN system management Assist with opening, closing, and securing the golf shop and storage areas following established procedures Play golf with members, guests, and course raters to represent the resort and foster relationships Stay informed and able to communicate resort policies, procedures, and offerings
Qualifications
Registered PGA Associate or current PGA Member in good standing Successful completion of the PGA Playing Ability Test (PAT) Bachelor’s degree preferred Familiarity with POS systems, tee sheet software, and golf tournament platforms Strong understanding of customer service and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences Solid playing ability and a desire to grow within the golf industry
