Position Summary Responsible for assisting the Athletic Turf Manager in the daily maintenance of Hawks Field, Bowlin Stadium, and surrounding landscape. Learn and assist with the maintenance of the entire facility in accordance with set standards. Must abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely. Starting Salary $38,000-$45,000 annually *DOE Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Mowing, edging and aerifying turf Applications of Granular fertilizer and pesticides Maintenance of clay surfaces Maintenance of warning track Irrigation maintenance and repair Operate turf equipment necessary for turf maintenance Assists manager in overseeing and delegating tasks to grounds crews Education and Experience Associates Degree in turf management or related field; and Previous experiencein maintenance of a sports and/or recreational environment; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
