2 Open Positions: West/Central Wisconsin Region and North/East Wisconsin Region REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This position reports directly to the Ruminant Commercial Sales Manager. PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Under the general direction of the Ruminant Commercial Sales Manager, the Dairy Specialist will drive adoption and sales of McNess’s value-added dairy products and services, ranging from vitamin & mineral premixes and feed additives to protein blends, co-products, and third-party commodities. You will develop new markets within your territory, support existing customers, and convert prospects by promoting our Dairy Nutrition Program and cutting-edge technologies. Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Market Development Cultivate new accounts by presenting tailored McNess Dairy Nutrition Program solutions. Promote value-added products (premixes, additives, blends) and branded specialty, manufactured, and commodity offerings. Maintain and actively update a territory prospect list to meet and exceed annual sales targets. Technical Consulting & Service Provide modern dairy husbandry and performance-optimization services. Stay current on feeding and management trends to inform product development and field applications. Independently resolve customer inquiries and include internal resources when needed. Team Collaboration & Company Engagement Work closely with sales team, R&D, and internal resources to identify and pursue business development opportunities. Participate in industry associations and company product-development meetings. Share competitive insights and best practices across the team in regular internal meetings. Customer Relationship Management Deliver outstanding service by responding promptly to customer concerns. Leverage McNess CRM tools for margin monitoring and account management. Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in animal science, nutrition, or related field required (Ph.D. preferred) Minimum five years of direct sales and dairy-nutrition consulting experience, including proficiency with formulation models and ration balancing Strong presentation skills and competitive-product knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication in English Proficient with Microsoft Office Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to change Valid driver’s license with a clean record; willingness to travel overnight as business needs dictate
