Overview
National Director of JNFuture (Young Leadership) at Jewish National Fund-USA. Location: New York City (in-office, 5 days). Key Responsibilities
Coordinate National Board Operations: Manage monthly national board calls, organize an annual in-person meeting, and oversee the biennial nominating process. Facilitate National Gatherings: Organize missions to Israel, participate in the Global Conference for Israel, and lead annual leadership development programs for professionals and lay leaders. Manage a Team of Young Leadership Fundraisers: Conduct team calls to support work objectives, organize an annual professional retreat, and directly supervise 11 young leadership fundraisers across the United States. This role requires travel to different regions to understand the nuances of regional teams and leadership. Build Capacity of Existing and New Chapters: Provide board and leadership training, organize board retreats, and plan for succession. Train and Focus the JNFuture Fundraising Team and Lay Leadership: Focus on the donor journey for the 22-41 age demographic, with specific goals for different donation levels to encourage leadership within JNF-USA. Be the National Face and Leader of JNF-USA: Promote opportunities for Millennials and Gen Z to become impact philanthropists supporting Israel. Onboard and Train New JNFuture Team Members: Mentor young professionals through their early career journey and provide ongoing stewardship for their constituents. Convene Ad-Hoc Committees: Explore initiatives to advance campaign objectives and engage new audiences for JNFuture. Work with Supervisor: Facilitate the fundraising campaign for JNFuture, identifying opportunities and key milestones. Analyze the Database: Identify opportunities and challenges and provide progress reports to JNF leadership. Work with Marketing and Communications: Promote JNFuture through various channels such as mailings, press releases, social media, and other marketing communications. Utilize Relationships with Partner Organizations: Spread awareness and increase JNFuture membership. Develop pathways for leadership involvement: Create opportunities for greater participation in the leadership of the Jewish National Fund and philanthropy. Additional Activities: As required by the Chief Strategy Officer. Qualifications
4+ years of experience in fundraising, advocacy, sales, marketing, and management. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills. Ability to design and lead training seminars. Creative self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a team. Superior problem-solving and multi-tasking ability. Flexibility for significant travel. Database/CRM systems experience – Salesforce is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Compensation
Base pay range: $145,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Pay Type: Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.
