Overview

The Inn on Biltmore Estate seeks a Banquet Manager to oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations for the Inn’s banquet facility and Antler Hill Barn. This role ensures a consistent and high-quality catering and dining experience for all guests, with full P&L responsibility including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls and capital planning and spending. The Manager will maintain standards of quality and service, review financial transactions, monitor budgets, and liaise with the F&B leadership team to plan menus, special events, and related activities across dining room, kitchen, bar, and banquet operations. The Manager may assist other departments and restaurants within the Inn on Biltmore Estate as assigned. In addition, the incumbent provides general assistance and support for leadership, the department, and the company as needed. Essential Duties

Oversee day-to-day Inn banquet food and beverage operations, ensuring service levels and quality meet or exceed Biltmore standards. Hire, train, develop, manage performance, and schedule staff. Take on P&L responsibilities including forecasting, budgeting, cost controls, and review; contribute to ongoing infrastructure maintenance and improvement. Develop menus and pricing to deliver desired value and meet cost of goods objectives; monitor purchasing, portioning, and cost control. Coordinate purchasing and oversee inventory and supply management. Maintain rapport within the department and with other Company departments; resolve problems or complaints to the satisfaction of all involved. Ensure food quality, service, and safety standards are met. Attend weekly BEO meetings and ensure event details and changes are communicated. Qualifications

High school diploma required. Additional education, training, and/or certifications strongly preferred. A two- or four-year degree in a related hospitality field is preferred. Minimum of four (4) years of related banquets experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Ideal candidate will have five (5) years of F&B management experience in an upscale hotel/resort/event. Proven commitment to world-class guest service; strong leadership skills with ability to build, develop, and motivate teams. Excellent planning, project and time management, organizational skills; attention to detail and service quality. Outstanding interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences. Proactive, good judgment; problem-solving and follow-up abilities. Proficiency in Word and Excel; ability to learn events systems; Micros/Delphi experience a plus. Ability to handle various guest service situations professionally. Physical Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; ability to adjust focus visually. Travel between event locations by car required; valid driver’s license, clean driving record for past three years, and minimum 18 years of age. Employment Type
