Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and services. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines—although that’s a plus—but having a background in automotive parts is important. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths within the company.
What You Will Be Doing
Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
Using your parts knowledge to assist team members with customer questions
Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions
Bringing customer focus and energy to our fast-paced stores
Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs
This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You
Enjoy helping customers with their auto parts questions
Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
Want to grow your career in a supportive environment
What You’ll Need
Valid Driver’s License
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
Good listening skills and empathy for customers
Additional Preferences
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems
Customer-centric attitude
ASE Certifications (preferred but not required)
