Overview
CAES By Honeywell, in San Jose, CA is currently seeking an Assembler to work in the Module Assembly Area.
Pay differential for 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
Novice in at least two of the following skills; wire bonding, gap welding, eutectic die attach, epoxy attach. Be able to handle devices, and other small components using tweezers under a microscope.
Work under guidance of cell lead or another higher level assembler, take ownership for your quality and learn to make continual improvements.
Participate in meetings, occasionally make suggestions and partner with your team to meet daily production goals.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area
Ability to work under a microscope 8 hours per day.
Effectively communicate in English and read work instructions. Knowledge of MIL-STD criteria preferred.
Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
0-1+ years hybrid or chip and wire assembly experience
Ability to use tweezers and other small hand-tools
Basic computer skills for documenting defects and time charging
This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license)
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
At least 1 year hybrid or chip and wire assembly experience
CCA assembly or soldering experience
Experience using automated assembly equipment
Demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with team members
Attention to detail and ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions
Salary Range:
$19.00 - $23.00 hourly (Level I). Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
