As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities
Deliver online 1-on-1 Physics 11 tutoring sessions via the Live Learning Platform. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Earn base contract rates starting at $18/hour, with potential increases for specialized subjects and for continuing sessions with the same student (up to $40/hour). Be matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. Utilize the Tutor Copilot features to assist with real-time instruction, lesson generation, and engagement tools to save prep time and focus on teaching. Receive payments through the platform, with pay issued up to twice per week; you invoice for sessions conducted. Work remotely—no commuting required. What We Look For In a Tutor
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Physics 11 with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
