Behavioral health services and positive behavioral supports are provided by Masters level
Behavior Intervention Specialists (BIS)
to adults with IDD in residential homes. Responsibilities
Provide services designed to maximize the intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning of individuals receiving services under the supervision of an Assistant Director of Psychology and a Ph.D.-licensed psychologist. Practice and promote the agency mission statement in every interaction. Provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives and to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained. Qualifications
Master's degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of psychology, social work, school psychology, or applied psychology. Experience in the IDD field. Seniority level
