— The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Greeter (Seasonal) Shore House to join the team. This role supports a welcoming guest experience at a newly renovated and expanded resort on Coronado Island.
Location: Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton, 1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado 92118
Responsibilities
Open car doors for arriving and departing guests. Extend a warm welcome, a pleasant day and/or a fond farewell depending on circumstance.
Attend to all aspects of the arrival process; welcome guests, unload, handle and deliver luggage and orient guests to their assigned accommodations as required.
Secure luggage as required.
Operate golf carts as needed in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain an orderly arrival and departure experience by keeping driveway traffic flowing.
Direct valet parking attendants to service opportunities.
Initiate transition of guest from the welcome at the front drive to the host for check-in.
Assist with hailing taxis and/or Del shuttles for transportation of guests.
Must know how to drive manual transmission.
Drive guest vehicles.
Provide directions as required and requested.
Maintain an attentive and pleasant atmosphere. Communicate clearly and concisely with owners, guests, peers and management.
Check daily activity board to be aware of special needs and arrival/departure times.
Maintain cleanliness standards and proper care of all supplies and equipment.
Adhere to department and hotel procedures and policies; provide assistance to all hotel departments as required.
Adhere to guidelines established in the Hotel del Coronado Associate Handbook.
Perform additional tasks as requested by leadership.
Reporting to the Shore House Supervisor, the Shore House Greeter coordinates a friendly and smooth arrival and departure of each Shore House guest. The Greeter is a property ambassador and helps craft a curated guest experience while supporting the team in delivering high levels of service and creating “Del Memories.”

Required Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Years of Experience: Two years of hospitality experience required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to provide directions, prioritize tasks, solve problems, execute under pressure, and follow through as required.
Must have a valid driver\'s license and provide a DMV printout with a clean driving record.
Must be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated, attentive to detail and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Years of Experience: Two years of luxury experience preferred
