We are looking for a leader with a passion for the culinary arts to join our Culinary team as a Kitchen Manager. This individual should have extensive experience in a high-volume professional kitchen and preferably be a college graduate in the culinary arts. The role requires creativity, motivation, and hands-on leadership in the kitchen, with a proven track record of developing creative menus that reflect seasonal availability and aligning with the restaurant concept. The Kitchen Manager will assist with planning and execution of daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the hotel in a safe, sanitary environment compliant with standards and regulations, aiming for profitable quality products. Your Role: You will attract, retain, and motivate the best culinary talent You will act in the absence of the executive chef to complete daily ordering using current par levels for all outlets, employee cafeteria, and banquets You may be required to perform any function within the culinary department (cook, steward, etc.) You will conduct daily kitchen walk-throughs, make recommendations for corrections, cleanliness, and improvements You will conduct daily team meetings to ensure preparation and communicate pertinent information You will attend weekly F&B, BEO, leadership, and monthly safety meetings and represent the culinary team You will set an example for the culinary team You will manage department finances, analyze and control costs, and manage the budget to achieve profitability You will have thorough knowledge of food allergens and handle allergy guests with urgency You will work with the culinary team to ensure prep sheets are updated daily You will guide nightly kitchen cleaning and ensure the dish area is ready for the next day You will assist the Executive Chef in creating, costing, and implementing seasonal and special menus The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Considerable knowledge of mathematics to create and interpret reports, budgets, and forecasts. Extensive knowledge of menu development, marketing, cost, and wage control. Extensive knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation. Ability to analyze, forecast, and make judgments to ensure proper payroll and production control. TABC and Food Handlers Certification REQUIRED. Engaging and welcoming personality Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment A passion for creating an exceptional guest experience Excellent communication skills ENVIRONMENT:

Inside outlets with varying noise, temperature, and humidity levels.
