TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment. Responsibilities include the facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students. Faculty will interpret and administer assessments and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes. A key part of the role is to integrate technology effectively to enrich the educational experiences. Faculty act as ambassadors for their programs and for TSTC. This position is scheduled for 16 hours per week (2 eight-hour days). The rate is $75 per contact hour. Faculty should demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and community members. Instructional Delivery:
Prepare and deliver high-quality instruction, develop course syllabi and instructional plans, and organize daily classes using a variety of techniques. Instructional Management:
Fulfill the assigned schedule, maintain accurate student records, and ensure a safe instructional environment with appropriate equipment security where applicable. Student Retention and Placement:
Advise students with timely, accurate information and collaborate with the Office of Student Success to promote tutoring and programs that increase retention. Program Recruitment & Promotion:
Participate in tours and recruitment events; assist in department/program planning for recruitment. Teamwork & Service:
Demonstrate service orientation and professional conduct with students, parents, employers, media, coworkers, and the community. Availability may include evenings, weekends, or summers as appropriate; ability to work in a team; alignment with the college mission, vision, and values. Other Duties as Assigned:
