Security Officer - FLEX role with a platform-based shift-pickup system to view and claim open shifts based on availability. You will gain hands-on experience across various industries (Healthcare, Education, Finance, etc.). The position offers flexible scheduling, potential for growth, and may require working irregular shifts with little to no advance notice. Responsibilities
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in a vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons Warn violators of rule infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, carrying forbidden articles) Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits Observe departing personnel to protect against theft and ensure compliant removal of property Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders Qualifications (must Have)
High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience Licensing requirements as per state/local laws; may be required prior to employment Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle Background check and drug screen may be required No prior experience required Must be at least 18 years old (21 if armed in some states) Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors Strong communication and customer service skills Effective problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork Preferred Qualifications
Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience Benefits
