Overview
Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a Flex Security Officer. Applicants need to be flexible with their schedule and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays, if needed. Must be able to respond to work assignments with little to no advance notice. Salary: $17.00 p/hr Responsibilities
Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests in a prompt and courteous manner Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor’s arrival Assist in protecting people and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures Monitor and detect suspicious behavior to assist in preventing vandalism, theft and other criminal activity Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms Patrol the interior and exterior perimeter to identify potential safety and security risks Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, possession of prohibited items) Respond to calls of distress, alarms and emergencies by contacting local first responders Identify and report safety and security concerns in a timely manner Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents) Enforce all rules and regulations and ensure compliance Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Valid state licensing, if applicable Professional demeanor and appearance Basic computer skills Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Minimum of one year of customer service experience Minimum of one year of security experience Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug) Must pass a background check Must have active security license Physically able to perform required tasks (e.g., crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, standing and walking for extended periods) Job details
