Associate Attorney - Trusts & Estates and Corporate/Business
We are seeking an associate attorney to become a part of our team. The Firm is flexible with working from home. A minimum of three days per week in the office would be required for the first 3 months, with flexibility thereafter. This policy could change.
Responsibilities
Attend estate planning client meetings and ongoing communications with clients
Prepare estate planning documents, including Wills, trusts, and related documents
Advise clients on business structures and transactions
Draft business contracts and related transaction documents
Assist with trust and estate administration matters, including counsel regarding management, distribution, and NJ and federal estate and inheritance tax reporting issues
Demonstrate initiative and the ability to assume responsibility for matters within a dynamic practice
Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services
Qualifications
Active Bar admission in NJ (other states a plus)
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3+ years of estate and trust planning and administration, and interest in working in related transactional and business-related matters
