Job Title:

Research Associate – Preclinical Research Overview: We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to join our preclinical research team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support in animal studies, laboratory procedures, and data collection to advance early-phase drug development. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced research environment while contributing to meaningful work that impacts global healthcare. Responsibilities: Perform technical procedures including blood collection, IV administration, injections, and anesthesia. Handle, restrain, and provide clinical care for multiple animal species (mice, rats, rabbits, canines, and non-human primates). Support surgical and study procedures including catheter placement, sample collection, enrichment, and food monitoring. Document and collect data across multiple concurrent studies in compliance with GLP standards. Operate laboratory equipment such as glucometers, digital thermometers, and infusion pumps. Monitor and report changes in animal health, behavior, or housing conditions. Assist study supervisors and directors with procedural support and accurate study documentation. Participate in cross-training and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Maintain clean and organized laboratory and procedure areas. Qualifications: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Animal Science, or related field preferred. Previous animal research experience in an academic lab, CRO, or internship strongly preferred. Technical skills in blood collection, IV administration, injections, and animal handling. Familiarity with GLP standards, SOPs, and accurate documentation practices. Experience with euthanasia and necropsy procedures a plus. Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple studies. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and a flexible schedule. Schedule: Training:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for 2–3 months. Post-training:

Tuesday – Saturday OR Sunday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Compensation: $23.25 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience and level).
