About the Role As a Licensed Addiction Counselor at Heartview Foundation, you'll play a key role in guiding individuals through their recovery journey. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care in a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
Leading individual and group counseling sessions tailored to patient needs
Conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans
Utilizing evidence-based practices, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and harm reduction strategies
Collaborating with medical and behavioral health professionals for coordinated, high-quality care
Promoting an inclusive environment that honors each individual’s background and experiences

Requirements What We’re Looking For
An active
North Dakota LAC license.
Prior experience in substance use treatment or addiction counseling (preferred).
Proficiency in assessments, individual and group therapy, and evidence-based approaches.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
If in recovery, one must have achieved a period of sustained abstinence and be able to demonstrate successful rehabilitation and stability.
Additional Requirements
Successful background check.
Compliance with drug-free workplace policies, including pre-employment screening.
