Our work environment includes comprehensive training in procedures, radiology, and evidence-based practices. We operate like an ED in a private setting, with onsite x-ray and lab services, support staff, and specialty consultations. We enjoy strong community relationships and a reputation for excellent care. The schedule is flexible, with no overnights, and roles range from 12 to 36 hours per week, part-time or full-time. Description

We are hiring Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric experience to join our team. Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Officer, APPs evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care, including telemedicine. Job Responsibilities: Assess and treat acute injuries and illnesses in in-person and telemedicine settings, managing conditions like febrile illnesses, infections, abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, respiratory issues, and asthma. Perform procedures such as abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair. Take and interpret radiographs, with official over-reads where applicable; training provided. Oversee patient flow, staff, and trainees, ensuring smooth daily operations. Follow policies, report changes, and maintain safety and legal compliance. Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Engage in ongoing education and professional development. Handle patient concerns and contribute to service recovery. Improve efficiency, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience metrics. Qualifications: Experience in pediatrics; ER, hospitalist, or urgent care experience preferred. Active ANCC or NCCPA certification. State licenses for RN, NP, or PA as applicable. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies. Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR systems (eCW preferred).
