Counter Sales associate , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. No need to be able to tear down motors (though its a plus), but a background in automotive parts is preferred. What You Will Be Doing Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone. Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge. Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive shopping experience. Engaging with customers in a fast-paced retail environment. Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs. This Is The Right Opportunity For You If You Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and questions. Have automotive experience or enjoy tinkering and repairing vehicles. Are willing to learn automotive knowledge if you lack experience. Want to grow your career in a team-oriented environment. What Youll Need Valid Drivers License. Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn. High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting. Strong listening skills and empathy for customers. Additional Preferred Qualifications Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, marine, or dealership industries. Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.
