Inside Sales Representative

FCX Performance . This is a full-time permanent position located in Columbus, OH. FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Inbound-Inside Sales Representative with FCX Performance/Simco, you will establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team. You will interact with customers to determine their process flow control and instrumentation needs and provide solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results. Responsibilities
Sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, answering price and delivery inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders and suggesting additional products in a fast-paced environment. Manage orders from quotation to collection, including selecting and specifying products using FCX and vendor tools/software, responding to inquiries, processing orders, and sending acknowledgements. Review customer purchase orders for special conditions and required documentation; verify availability and ship dates. Increase order size by suggesting related items, explaining features, and referencing customer buying history. Process and expedite orders, customer returns, and returns to vendors; locate products and create purchase orders; follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Negotiate pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary. Work closely with Outside Sales staff to solicit business, execute transactions and maintain high levels of customer service. Communicate effectively and participate as a positive member of the Branch/Division inside sales team. Maximize gross margin by delivering superior service, problem solving, and technical expertise. Review open customer order reports and address items at risk of affecting delivery dates. Other duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 1-3+ years’ experience in a Customer Service-related Industry preferred; experience in an Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service role with an Industrial Distributor is a plus. Benefits
