About The Role
We are seeking a motivated Account Executive to sell a news and current awareness portfolio to Large Law firms. This role is responsible for retaining and growing an existing book of business within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
Exceed monthly and annual sales goals
Develop detailed strategic plans for growing business within the defined territory
Deliver actionable forecasts and customer intelligence
Articulate News/Current Awareness Tools’ value within LexisNexis’ ecosystem
Collaborate with Client Managers and other sales team members to retain and grow business; contribute to account plans, mitigate risks, identify whitespace, and support Large Law’s strategic priorities
Develop deep customer relationships; serve as a source of referrals and generate leads to other lines of business
Collaborate with a team of sales associates to retain existing business efficiently
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (JD/MBA a plus)
5 years’ B2B sales experience in information services, news, financial services, technology, or subscription sales
New business hunter mentality
Strong prospecting, selling, negotiating, and closing skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate across teams
