and seeking a qualified
Membership Sales Team Member
who is focused on
developing sales skills, growing the community, and would have fun achieving membership sales goals.
This is the perfect opportunity to interact with clients on a daily basis and help create a supportive and meaningful community!
POSITION:
The purpose of the
Membership Sales Team Member
is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by
bringing new members to the studio, building a relationship, providing a positive experience, and successfully moving them through the sales process to a membership sale.
The position also assists with retaining and providing customer service to current members.
Boutique fitness knowledge, customer service, sales, or retail experience is preferred, but not required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s goals and needs Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production Make 12-30 phone calls per shift in outbound dialing prospects before their first class and gathering a needs assessment Present available services to current or prospective members Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills Process accurate credit card transactions Follow up & follow through activities with prospective clients and new members Attend and complete all relative training programs Take pictures for social media platforms Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality Ability to build strong customer relationships Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training Self-motivated and takes initiative Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system Must be have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email Strong organizational and multitasking skills Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Must have proficient computer skills Authorization to work in the United States required COMPENSATION & PERKS:
Competitive base rate plus commission paid on sales --
$15/hour base + commissions = $20-$25/hour and more for top salespeople with their commissions Huge opportunities for growth within the studios including additional sales, management and regional roles , especially as the company grows beyond the current five locations Sales, management, mentorship and leadership training Free, unlimited membership
