Location: Remote (US, East Coast hours)
Pay: $65-68/hr W2
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is hiring an Application Security Analyst to join their Security Department. The role supports application development and security initiatives.
What's the Job?
Identify and analyze application vulnerabilities using advanced security tools and techniques.
Work closely with application development teams to remediate security issues and improve application resilience.
Document security assessments, decisions, and remediation steps to maintain comprehensive audit trails.
Conduct application penetration testing and validate false positive vulnerabilities with thorough evidence gathering.
Create and manage filters and queries to generate detailed security reports for internal teams.
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in application security within a regulated financial environment.
Expertise in SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST, and application penetration testing tools.
Strong ability to follow procedures, document decisions, and suggest procedural improvements.
Experience working with ServiceNow VR and creating detailed security reports.
Ability to analyze false positives, gather evidence, and communicate findings effectively.
