Our client is looking for entry-level IT technicians (previous data center work experience preferred)! This position is 100% ONSITE. Key duties include: Preparing, staging, setting up, and performing startups and shutdowns (e.g., racks, hard drives, switches) according to instructions, checklists, guides, protocols, and emails. Performing post-execution quality checks, verifying grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety protocols, standards, and Network Design Tasks (NDTs). Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, quickly identifying causes, and replacing faulty components. Decommissioning hardware for simple upgrades or refreshes (e.g., memory upgrades, OS rebuilds) following standard procedures with minimal guidance. Communicating, reporting, and escalating incidents as per procedures. Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include: Previous IT cabling experience Technical degree Technical aptitude Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+) Previous hardware IT experience Pay and Benefits
The pay range is $22.63/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on employment classification and duration.
