Overview

LCB Licensing Specialist role at Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As an LCB Licensing Specialist, you will review and process routine, advanced, and complex liquor license and permit applications in support of the licensing program administered by the PLCB. Responsibilities

Examine, analyze, and evaluate licenses, permits, and supporting documents to determine correct execution, eligibility, and approval or denial of applications. Review and determine acceptability of legal documents, such as management agreements, agreements of sale, partnership agreements, leases, court orders, franchise agreements, IRS seizures, bankruptcy orders, as well as opinions, liens, and writs. Conduct advanced and complex regulatory review of the most difficult license or permit application transactions, including new licenses, person-to-person transfers, double transfers, and management companies. Work Schedule and Additional Information

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch Telework: may be able to work from home part-time, up to four days a week, with one day per week in the Northwest Office Building in Harrisburg. Telework requires a securely configured high-speed internet connection and an approved location inside Pennsylvania; option to report to the Harrisburg headquarters if not teleworking. Telework availability is subject to change. Additional details may be provided during the interview. Salary: starting salary may be non-negotiable in some cases Qualifications

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as an LCB Licensing Technician 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Five years of clerical, administrative, or para-professional experience supporting a legal, licensing, or regulatory program requiring application of statutes, program policies, and industry regulations, with high school graduation; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years is not permitted to work for the PLCB. Other criminal convictions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. How to Apply
