In the role of Distribution EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to contribute to design and project execution in alignment with project requirements and safety codes. Work under the direction of Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s). Conduct analyses to develop design options, perform modeling and/or calculations, and prepare design sketches and concept drawings. Work with Designers and CAD Technicians to develop construction drawings in accordance with national design standards, safety codes and project specifications and requirements. Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications. Participate in field reviews or construction observation. Designs include electrical layout design, cable heating and sizing analysis, overhead and underground structure design, electrical equipment selection and development of bill of materials. Designs must also consider construction requirements. Occasional short-term travel (typically 1-5 days); longer term assignments may be required infrequently on project assignments. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Required Qualifications
