Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. Primary Responsibilities
Overall responsibilities as a Database Administrator include performing all necessary procedures for several databases across several environments. Specific development, test, and production responsibilities will include: Install and maintain database software, including Oracle 11 and PostgreSQL hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS). Provide software developers with database schema designs adhering to relational database best practices Providing corporate applications with DBA consultation and technical support for relational databases Evaluate and update database designs for better performance. Address integration between databases. Maintain database documents and procedures. Support database security hardening. Address and troubleshoot technical problems. Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Requires Master’s degree and 15+ years’ experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree. AWS experience. Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements. Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, UNIX, PostgreSQL, and Linux. Desired Qualifications
Experience with database migration tools such as Flyway Experience supporting COTS platforms Experience working with / handling Highly Sensitive Data Come break things (in a good way). Then build them smarter. We\'re the tech company everyone calls when things get weird. Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
