Overview
Quality Assurance Manager role responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through understanding customer needs, coordinating quality processes, and driving continuous improvement across the factory. The position acts as a liaison for customers on quality issues and supports management in maintaining and improving the quality system. Responsibilities
Act as a liaison and support for customers on quality issues, including visits, studies, participation in projects, and complaint management. Lead rapid response to incidents reported by customers, ensuring timely and high-quality resolutions. Contribute to and ensure compliance with the Group\'s Quality, Safety, Environment and Equal Opportunities policies. Advise Factory Management and other sections on quality issues to support decision-making; actively participate in the Factory Steering Committees and facilitate coordination within the Country/Area. Verify that Plant Management understands its obligations in terms of food safety and keep them informed about relevant changes; promote necessary actions and ensure good manufacturing practices. Promote correct implementation of ECO management system guidelines; ensure documentation is up to date and verified by responsible persons. Lead the process of defining the Quality Master Plan, budget, and objectives; monitor implementation and act as a liaison with Group on these topics. Support Factory Management in preparing and directing Quality Committees; act as secretary where required. Promote and contribute to annual evaluation of the management system; analyze effectiveness, identify deviations, and define improvement plans. Ensure the monthly quality indicators are accurately presented in reports. Coordinate with external certification bodies and facilitate internal audits; liaise with auditors\' visits. Receive and analyze quality suggestions from employees with corresponding committees. Manage the factory laboratory and ensure the service is of proper quality. Promote preventive quality activities, including internal audits and maintaining certifications (ISO, BRC, AIB, etc.). Encourage and participate in advanced projects and tools for continuous improvement (e.g., automatic inline controls, SPC, AMFE, 6Sigma, 5S).
Support continuous improvement by identifying needs, driving corrective actions, participating in training, and running campaigns to promote the Management System. Ensure employees and contractors receive adequate quality training and help maintain the training matrix. Collaborate on corrective quality activities with other sections, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented. Encourage the use of analysis tools (PDCA, QRQC) to prevent recurrence of problems and manage supplier non-conformities. Qualifications / Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in Paper & Cardboard Laboratory. ISO 9001 & SQF Program Management experience. Knowledge of BRC/IoP, HACCP analysis (hazard analysis and critical control points).
