Youth Advocates
to work in a staff-secure setting for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21 within our Juvenile Justice network. The role is multifaceted, encompassing advocacy, skill building, care coordination, education and role modeling. You will work as part of a dedicated team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth. Responsibilities: Promote hope and empowerment through support and meetings with clients Empower clients to exercise autonomy in all aspects of their lives Use principles and practices of youth development and trauma informed care to create a safe and therapeutic environment Promote an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity Foster the youth’s skills and interests and mentor their positive development. Implement program activities that are safe and foster personal growth and healthy choices Promote responsible and healthy decision-making among youth Implement applicable safety and emergency requirements including use of crisis prevention and de-escalation skills Qualifications: High school diploma or related experience Experience working with youth Schedule: Friday-Tuesday 11pm-7am Wednesday/Thursday off Thursday-Monday 3pm-11pm Tuesday/ Wednesday off Thursday-Monday 11pm-7am Tuesday/ Wednesday off Friday-Tuesday 7am-3pm Wednesday/Thursday off Wednesday-Sunday 7am-3pm Monday/ Tuesday off Hourly Rate:
