Cost Accountant – Venteon Finance – Columbus, IN
Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Cost Accountant for a leading manufacturing company located in Columbus, IN. As a Cost Accountant, you will maintain the costing system, develop both budget and forecast data, provide accurate cost estimates for new product development projects to ensure that all costs are captured prior to manufacturing start-up. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. 2+ years’ experience in Costing. Experience using ERP systems (Plex or similar). Responsibilities
Maintain the most up to date cost data for existing products. Participate in cost reduction efforts and cost saving initiatives across the organization. Annual Budget Costing Development. Internal/External Inventories and Cycle Count Management. Review Routings and BOMs for Accuracy. Monthly Forecast Development. Lease Management and Tracking. Fixed Asset Management and Tracking. Participate in the Quoting process by working with Engineering to provide the most up to date costing. KPI Tracking and weekly reporting. Seniority Level
