Altfest Personal Wealth Management, a nationally recognized, independent RIA based in New York City, is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join our award-winning team. In this role, you will deliver holistic financial planning advice, deepen and manage client relationships, and help drive the firm’s continued growth.

As a fee-only fiduciary firm, our advisors are free from sales commissions and conflicts of interest, ensuring we act solely in the best interests of those we serve. This position is ideal for a collaborative professional who is passionate about financial planning and wants to make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary advisor and trusted resource for a select group of clients. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial plans, integrating investments, cash flow, tax, estate planning, insurance, and benefits strategies. Review and evaluate client portfolios; design customized investment strategies aligned with firm guidelines and client objectives. Contribute specialized expertise in one or more areas: Investments: Participate in the firm’s Investment Committee and provide research coverage for a segment of the investment universe. Financial Planning: Serve as an internal subject matter expert in a technical area (e.g., tax, retirement, estate, risk). Business Development: Partner with colleagues to design and implement growth initiatives. Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of wealth management experience, ideally with a demonstrated track record in relationship management at a fee-only firm. CFP designation required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Entrepreneurial, proactive, and collaborative with a strong team orientation. Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and a true “client-first” mentality. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $130,000–$145,000 (excluding potential incentives) Fully paid medical plan (with no in-network co-pays), plus dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability coverage. Fully paid parental leave. FSA, Traditional and Roth 401(k) with a generous employer match. Why Join Altfest?
