Primary Functions
Validate and verify loan documentation from dealers participating in the indirect lending program.
Input and fund loans for customers and dealerships into the loan platform.
Assist lending department and credit union partners, conducting daily interactions aligned with OnPath’s mission and values.
Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and a desire to build rapport with internal and external members.
Promote a positive image of the credit union to peers, members, and communities served.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Input loan data into the Lending system accurately.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws (Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC).
Perform audits of assigned loan packets and verify completeness and correctness.
Verify loan options and ensure accurate installation on vehicles.
Provide product and service recommendations to prospective and current customers.
Process payments to dealers timely and fund loan packets into the Indirect Lending system and company tracking system.
Cross‑train and support the Direct Lending department as needed.
Experience
Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including preparatory positions.
Education / Certifications / Licenses
High school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills
Trust, credibility, and diplomacy required for sensitive customer interactions.
Other Skills
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations; proficiency with database software and MS Office suite.
Physical & Working Conditions Regularly sit, use hands to finger, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand/walk as needed in a climate‑controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
